There was a major fire alarm in the municipality of Egg in Vorarlberg during the night from Thursday to Friday. There, a massive wooden holiday home caught fire – 180 emergency services from the Bregenzerwald had to be deployed to fight the fire.
At around 10:23 p.m. there was a major fire in a holiday home on the Kaltenbrunnen plot in the municipality of Egg in the Bregenzerwald. When the fire brigade and police arrived, the massive wooden building was already completely on fire.
Fire brigades from Egg, Großdorf, Andelsbuch, Schwarzenberg, Müselbach, Alberschwende and Reuthe fought the major fire with approximately 180 emergency services. Fire investigators from the Vorarlberg state police will begin investigating the cause of the fire on Friday.
In addition to the fire brigade and the federal police, several paramedics and an emergency doctor were also involved in the operation. There are currently no reports of injuries.
