After three murders in three different locations in Canada within three days, a woman has been arrested for the violent crimes. “She is a serial killer,” Niagara Falls police chief told reporters on Friday (local time).
The 30-year-old woman is said to have killed one person in the eastern part of the country from Tuesday to Thursday in the metropolis of Toronto, in Niagara Falls and in another city in the province of Ontario. According to police, she was arrested at a hotel on Thursday evening
Two victims selected at random
According to the police chief, 30-year-old suspect Sabrina K. knew her first victim, a 60-year-old Toronto woman whose body was found in her home with “visible injuries.” K. apparently selected her other two victims at random: a 47-year-old in a park in Niagara Falls and finally a 77-year-old man in a parking lot in the city of Hamilton.
In the Niagara Falls case, police came across the body of 47-year-old Lance Cunningham after he was called to a park for a disturbance. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect apparently followed 77-year-old Mario Bilich of Hamilton, a retired teacher, into the parking lot. There she caused him “significant injuries” that appeared to be stab wounds, local police said. The man ultimately died in hospital from his injuries.
An investigation was launched against the woman. She is charged with murder for all three crimes.
