A driver (44) wanted to cross the Mondseestrasse (B154) near the state border on Sunday evening. A collision occurred with the car of an 18-year-old. Three people were injured in the accident.
While the two drivers were unharmed, the rescue team took three occupants of the vehicle to hospital: two 18-year-olds and the husband (38) of the woman who caused the accident. According to the police, the alcohol test showed that the woman from Salzburg had an alcohol content of more than two per mille in her blood. Officers confiscated her driver’s license on the spot. The 18-year-old resident, on the other hand, was completely down to earth.
The collision caused total damage to both cars. During the cleaning work, the accident location was only accessible via one lane.
