The weather in Austria will remain unstable in the coming days. While no precipitation is expected on Saturday, on Sunday it is better to have an umbrella handy as it will be wet. But it will be very warm at the beginning of this week: a maximum of 24 degrees is expected on Tuesday.
But before temperatures rise again, there will be a few more rain showers on Friday. According to experts from Geosphere Austria, snow showers are also possible above 1,600 meters. The south and southeast will probably be spared: it will remain largely precipitation-free there. The maximum temperatures are 19 degrees.
Saturday starts with fog
The weekend starts with persistent fog – especially on the south side of the Alps. The rest of the day will remain rain-free for the time being. The temperatures are comparable to those of Friday: 19 degrees is possible.
Hardly any sun on Sunday
On Sunday the country was hit by a fault zone from the west. Dense cloud and isolated rain showers can therefore be expected, especially north of the main Alpine ridge. In these regions the sun is barely visible. Temperatures reach between three and eleven degrees in the morning, with daily maximum temperatures twelve to 18 degrees.
Warm front at the beginning of the week
You can look forward to plenty of sun again on Monday! Only in the course of the afternoon will the first cloud fields of a warm front approaching from the southwest appear. In some regions, up to 21 degrees weather is possible.
On Tuesday a whopping 24 degrees could be measured! It remains mainly sunny, but denser clouds also come through from the west.
