Lina Rogy caused a wave of willingness to help with a fundraising campaign – and thus saved the farm of a woman from Upper Austria! Without even knowing her!
“I heard about Sabine’s fate and just had to help!”, Lina Rogy (30) from Kerschdorf/Velden remembers on the day that would change Sabine Hinterberger’s life. The farmer from Upper Austria was on the verge of losing her farm – then the 30-year-old part-time farmer launched a fundraising campaign: “More than 200,000 euros were raised and the auction of my farm was postponed,” says Hinterberger gratefully.
The two women did not know each other at all: “I only saw them for the first time on the day of the planned auction.” Yet they both immediately felt a bond with each other: “We fell into each other’s arms,” says Lina, who will receive the sincere person “Krone” this year.
“We have not achieved all this yet,” the farmers agree. “But I believe everyone gets what they deserve!” Lina is sure.
