The number of patients requiring care in hospitals due to a corona infection continues to rise. In the normal departments, an increase of 108 corona patients was reported (total 2418 beds occupied), the number of patients in intensive care with twelve (total 130 beds occupied). That makes a total of 2,548 corona patients in hospitals.
The data status of the epidemiological reporting system (EMS) related to the corona pandemic in Austria is updated daily in the afternoon on the dashboard of AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety). The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the respective event day before wider.
