Sad news from the Innsbruck clinic: the 60-year-old woman who was hit by a bus in the Tyrolean capital last week and suffered life-threatening injuries, has died.
The horrific accident happened last Wednesday in Innsbruck near the Museumstraße/Meinhardstrae intersection. According to witnesses, the 60-year-old immediately crossed the street after the pedestrian traffic light turned green as the bus entered the intersection. The woman was hit by the vehicle.
Injuries were too bad
She was left on the street with life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic, it was said at the time.
On Tuesday, police announced that locals had succumbed to their serious injuries.
