More victims wanted – groping motorcyclists in Tyrol: suspect caught

Date:

An initially unknown motorcyclist independently groped three cyclists in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz in August – the “Krone” reported several times. Police have now managed to locate a suspect. The 36-year-old confessed to sexually harassing five other women.

The first two cases of sexual harassment reported to the police occurred on August 1. A motorcyclist approached cyclists riding on a bike path from behind and felt them on the buttocks and chest – first in Hart in the Zillertal, then in Schwaz. Another cyclist fell victim to the perpetrator on August 11 – the motorcyclist groped her on Rotholzer Landesstraße before fleeing on his racing motorcycle without a license plate. A search was unsuccessful.

Two cases were not reported
Three other women reported sexual harassment against the initially unknown person between July 23 and August 11. After extensive investigation by several police forces, the officials now reported that they had arrested a suspect. The 36-year-old Slovak admitted at an initial hearing on the six reported cases and admitted to sexually assaulting two other women who have not yet come forward. The two crimes probably took place in the Imming area in Bruck am Ziller.

The Strassen police are now asking the two victims to call 059133-7255.
