Completely dirty, scared and alone: six puppies were found on Friday at a rest stop along the highway in Carinthia. The Carinthian Competence Center for Animal Welfare is asking for support so that they can be cared for again.
“They are only a few weeks old and have already experienced more in their short lives than any living being should have to do,” the TiKo accuses in a post on Facebook (see below). Because six adorable puppies were simply “thrown away” in a cardboard box at a highway gas station.
“Fight not over yet”
They are now safe for the time being at the Animal Welfare Competence Center in Klagenfurt, “but the battle is not over yet.” Because they need urgent medical care for their weakened body, need to be dewormed and need a lot of love.
Anyone who wants to support the little warriors can donate now: just 15 euros provides the first portions of food. 30 euros covers the costs of special care, 50 euros covers blood samples and analyses.
