A 42-year-old Styrian is said to be responsible for incredible suffering: he is said to have abused his sister’s children, who were only five and eight years old, over a long period of time. For this he repeatedly made the trip to Burgenland, where the woman and the two are at home. And apparently didn’t notice the ordeal that the school and kindergarten child had to endure.
Suspect always seemed unobtrusive and calm
Police recently responded to a tip. The officers ran to the apartment complex where the company employee lives. Shortly afterwards he was taken away in handcuffs. He is described as completely unremarkable by those around him; no one expected that the level-headed and previously completely unremarkable man would be capable of something so cruel.
The Burgenland State Police refers to victim protection and does not want to say anything further about it.
Petra Bauer, spokeswoman for the Eisenstadt Public Prosecutor’s Office (Bld.), confirms the serious suspicions against the 42-year-old: “We are investigating suspicions of serious sexual abuse. The man is currently in custody and the investigation by the Burgenland State Police is ongoing.
