Ukraine says it has received back the bodies of 501 soldiers. As the responsible coordination staff announced, 382 soldiers were killed in the Avdiivka region of eastern Ukraine alone. The others died in the Donetsk regions near Bakhmut and Marjinka, as well as in the Luhansk region.
Killed soldiers are returned to their families
According to the coordination team, the International Red Cross and several Ukrainian institutions were involved in the return. After experts identify them, the slain soldiers will be handed over to their families for burial.
No information was given about the return of killed Russian soldiers.
