Police action Tuesday evening in a student house in Vienna: a 26-year-old had vented his anger at several roommates, suddenly pulled down to his underpants and rebelled. Even the police could not calm the suspect – the scantily clad man attacked them.
The police were alerted around 8:15 p.m. Location: the common area of a dormitory in the Penzing district. There, the furious man, a Ukrainian citizen, had already destroyed a vacuum cleaner and stood in his underpants in front of the officers.
Attack with punches and kicks
Attempts by the police to calm him down failed and the 26-year-old suspect suddenly attacked the officers with his fists and feet. Despite the massive resistance, the man was still arrested, according to police spokesman Daniel Fürst.
The police officer and the policewoman were injured “and were unable to continue the service”.
