Euskadi ends the three summer months with 1.17 million tourists staying in catering establishments, and an increasing number of foreign tourists. In fact, the number of tourists from the state has fallen by almost 3%.

This last month of summer, 359,503 visitors were registered in CAV hotels. 55% of the cases are entries of foreign origin, which have seen a softer decline (0.7%) compared to entries of state origin, which fell by 3.2%, always compared to September of last year. The number of overnight stays has also fallen, albeit slightly less (0.2%), to a total of 731,977, more than half of which are of foreign origin. The average stay in hotels was 2.04 days, slightly higher than the month of the previous year (2.00).
