The legal dispute between the couple Bohrn Mena and the Green MP Lena Schilling enters the next round in Vienna. Unfortunately, the parties to the dispute did not respond to the judge’s urgent call for an amicable settlement in June. The second day of the trial also takes place without the suspect: Schilling is in Brussels.
Great media interest in the city center court for the continuation of the civil case between the couple Bohrn Mena and politician Lena Schilling of the Green Party. The couple accuses Schilling of making false claims that damaged his credit.
“You act as a role model”
Judge Andrea Zlöbl advised the parties to the dispute to reach an amicable settlement during the preparatory meeting in June. ‘Do you want the confrontation to continue? Or do you take responsibility? Then everyone has to move. After all, you are a role model,” she says. And adds: “If you understand the curve now, no one will lose.”
Unfortunately, the appeal was in vain. Instead, new dirty laundry was washed in the run-up to the second day of the trial. But the judge is stubborn. On the second day of negotiations, she also insisted on settlement talks, which apparently had not taken place in the meantime. That’s why you do it directly in court, the hearing is interrupted – for a long time.
Schilling waives his right to be interviewed
Lena Schilling is once again not present in person: “She is in Brussels,” she tells her lawyer that she is waiving her interrogation. The lawyer added: “The process should not be used to further the plaintiff’s personal desire for revenge.” She comes up with a settlement offer. Exit opened.
