Authorities are working quickly after the horrific accident at the Kleinzeller crossing, where Sarah Sch. (28) from Atzesberg in Upper Austria had been ripped out of his life through no fault of his own.
As reported, the man from Rohrbach who caused the crash had to surrender his driver’s license for 20 months. The BH Rohrbach imposed it. Now the trial date has been set: on July 6, Josef G. (50) has to answer to the court of Linz. “The charge is dead by gross negligence,” explains Linz prosecutor Ulrike Breiteneder. The penalty: up to three years in prison.
Grossly negligent as he had already hit two cars when overtaking before the accident and wanted to pass Sarah’s car despite the 80 limit and two traffic islands. “I thought it would work,” he said in the “Krone” interview. It didn’t work, the car of the woman who wanted to get married this year was thrown against a bus, she died.
