All Saints’ Day – This is how old customs mix with new trends

Date:

From decorating the graves, visiting the cemetery to the Striezel – November 1 is associated with a lot of tradition. But new trends are constantly emerging that impact old customs.

Stonemasons, florists and bakers are currently busy. The reason: the customs are still often maintained on All Saints’ Day in Burgenland. In the cemeteries the graves are brought to a climax. Flowers and wreaths then decorate the final resting places. In the All Saints’ Day package, noble classics such as chrysanthemums or calluna are processed into something very special. For individual advice you can go to regional flower shops and garden centers.
