A 16-year-old girl experienced something terrible last week near the train station in Korneuburg. She was allegedly grabbed by a stranger on Wednesday and held by the neck. He then allegedly touched her and tore her T-shirt. The man is now being sought!
The teenager is said to have met the man shortly before 11pm last Wednesday. According to the police, he followed her from the train station in Korneuburg along a sidewalk to Leobendorfer-Straße. There he grabbed the girl around the neck to hold her tight.
“He then touched her in the hip and chest, causing the victim’s T-shirt to tear,” Lower Austria police said.
In her fear, the 16-year-old managed to break free and flee. She immediately reported the incident, but the suspect has not yet been located. That is why police photos of the suspected perpetrator have now been published. The police ask for all relevant information.
