The fire brigade was alerted on All Saints’ Day in Baden to an unusual operation: a short “excursion” to the football goal now proved fatal for an enthusiastic young athlete.
Because while climbing, the child suddenly got his foot stuck on the top of the metal fence. The boy was helplessly trapped and could not free himself from the predicament.
Boy was slightly injured
The comrades moved to the artificial grass field in Albrechtsgasse to free the scared and slightly injured child. Using a hydraulic spreader, the bars were pushed apart and the trapped foot was pulled out. The boy then had to be cared for by emergency services.
