The supplier Weinbergmaier GmbH is recalling the product “Smart smoked meat dumplings” for reasons of preventive consumer protection.
According to the press release, the reason for the precautionary recall is that individual products may contain foreign metals.
A possible health risk cannot be excluded. Consuming the product in question is not recommended.
The stock of the affected product has been withdrawn from sale. Affected products that have already been purchased can now be returned without a receipt.
The warning does not state that the health risk was caused by the producer, manufacturer, importer or distributor, BILLA concluded.
