Clear mandate for all kindergartens
The ÖVP politicians have now responded with a letter to all kindergartens. They underline the importance of these traditional celebrations: “St. Martin’s and St. Nicholas’s, Advent and Christmas celebrations have been an integral part of our culture for centuries.”

These annual festivals are therefore valuable opportunities to introduce the children – and also all those families who have previously had little contact with them – to the traditions and customs of Lower Austria: “This conveys values such as stability, helpfulness and respect .” emphasizes Mikl-Leitner.
