The 1st Tyrolean Parachute Club is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. As part of the anniversary event in Radfeld, ‘Krone’ editor Nicole Greiderer dared to skydive over the Inn Valley and throw herself out of a plane.
The thing that just took off from a field in Radfeld somehow looks like a bus with wings. If I didn’t know any better, I’d be sure this plane wouldn’t be able to take off. I also can’t quite believe that I’m actually sitting on the ground in the plane, along with about twenty other paratroopers. Through a small window I see how high we are. The climb takes about 20 minutes, way too long in my opinion. Most of the solo skydivers here are chatting, completely relaxed.
