Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular – because they are more climate-friendly and can make us independent of petrol. An idea that often comes up is the use of solar energy directly on the car – for example via a sunroof. This means that the vehicle can also be charged without a socket – a range of several kilometers per day should be possible. But: Sunroofs are still extremely rare on electric cars.
