Apparently, after lifting restrictions on the ATACMS system, the Ukrainian military has already carried out the first attacks with US missiles on targets in Russia.
As the Ukrainian news agency RBC reports, an object in the Bryansk region was “successfully hit.” On Tuesday evening, Kiev attacked a military facility in the Bryansk border area with six ballistic missiles, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense in Moscow published by Russian state news agencies on Tuesday. Accordingly, US-supplied ATACMS long-range missiles were used.
Of the six missiles, five were intercepted and one damaged. The resulting debris fell on a military facility in the region and caused a fire, the report said. Nothing is known about casualties or damage.
