This initiative, promoted to support local trade, has mobilized more than 261,000 consumers in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa and consolidated itself as an important tool to stimulate the local economy.
The fifth edition of the Euskadi Bono Denda program, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Consumer Affairs, has been well received among citizens. Since the start of the campaign on November 15, 75% of the vouchers available in Euskadi have already been used. This corresponds to more than 261,000 bonds redeemed of the 350,000 bonds distributed.
By area, the level of consumption is also significant: in Álava 74% (38,700 bonds) have been exchanged, in Bizkaia another 74% (134,300 bonds) and in Gipuzkoa 76% (88,200 bonds).
The aim of the initiative is to promote consumption in local companies through a direct discount of 10 euros on purchases above 30 euros, applicable in the establishment itself. 3.5 million euros have been allocated for this edition and more than 5,300 local companies and services have joined the program.
Participating establishments include not only local stores, but also services such as hair salons, beauty salons, laundries, dry cleaning, photography, copying and framing services, as well as repair shops.
