High tension and hair-raising fights are always guaranteed with the Cage Fight Series. Started by Austrian MMA pioneers Gerhard and Michael Ettl in 2007, the event series has seen numerous top international fighters participate in the event series over the years. The “CFS” became a fixture in the European cage fighting world – and beyond!
Stars are forged here
The most important fights have long taken place under the streaming umbrella of the world’s largest organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC Fightpass). In addition, Bogdan Grad, the first Styrian from the Ettl talent factory, made the jump to the billion-dollar class last summer.
Having just convinced UFC boss Dana White during his Contender Series in Las Vegas, “The Unleashed” is now strengthening the broad backs of his training and sparring buddies from the Champions Gym. Grad gets excited on site at the Schwarzl recreation center, gives tips and encourages everyone.

“Bogdan’s path shows that you can reach the top if you give everything,” explains mentor and coach Gerhard Ettl. “This is of course a huge motivation for everyone else!”
All others – these are Daniel Schordje, Sebastian Tomaschitz or Anas Hamdaoui. But the Viennese Bernadette Marsano, who lives in Graz and fights the only women’s fight of the evening, also dreams of the world of the big cages. To achieve this, we work hard and train for hours every day. Most recently, Marsano defeated Nóra Nagy (Ung) at the CFS 15, this time the Irish Sarah Elliott-Sheridan would “fall”.

As always at the Prelims, the “crown” gets to look through the bars of the cage and gets up close and personal with the fighters in the Octagon.
