Shock for couple: car falls 60 meters down slope during snowstorm

Date:

Spectacular accident late Friday evening in the Tyrolean lowlands: a 21-year-old local woman was probably out of control on the snow-covered road and drove her car over the side of the road. The car then slid about 60 meters down the slope. The young woman and her passenger (22) probably had thousands of guardian angels on board.

The accident took place around 10:45 p.m. in the municipality of Brandenberg in the Kufstein district. As the police described in response to questions from “Krone”, the 21-year-old local woman drove her car off the snow-covered road.

Huge blessing in disguise for prisoners
“The car then slid approximately 200 feet across the adjacent pasture slope,” the report said. The car eventually came to a stop near trees and bushes.

“The driver and her 22-year-old passenger were able to get out of the vehicle independently. Both were unharmed,” a spokesperson said.

Vehicle secured by fire brigade
The car was secured by the fire brigade and subsequently recovered with the help of a towing company. The police and rescue services were also present
