The armed wing of the radical Islamic Palestinian organization Hamas has announced the death of a new hostage kidnapped from Israel.
The woman was killed in a combat zone in the northern Gaza Strip, a spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades said on Saturday. He now found this out after contact with the guards of the woman who was kidnapped on October 7, 2023 was interrupted for several weeks.
The life of a second hostage, who was held together with the now murdered woman, was also at risk, the spokesperson warned. He did not provide any further information. When asked by AFP, the Israeli military said it was checking the information.
