US President Donald Trump thinks he is participating in the war between Israel and Iran. Nevertheless, Pakistan has now introduced him for the Nobel Prize for Peace – Trump had previously complained that he had not yet won the prize.
Pakistan justifies his proposal that Trump has contributed to a quick end of the escalation in the conflict between Pakistan and the neighboring country India in the spring. Trump surprisingly announced a cease -the fires between the two nuclear armed arch enemies in May and has repeatedly stated that he had prevented a nuclear war.
“As a recognition of his determined diplomatic intervention and its decisive leadership role during the recent Indian-Pakistan crisis,” the Pakistani government announced on platform X.
“I don’t get a Nobel Prize for Peace”
Only on Friday had Trump complained about his social social platform that he did not receive a Nobel Peace Prize, although he resolved countless conflicts. “I don’t get a Nobel Prize for Peace, whatever I do,” he wrote, “also not for Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Iran, who might come out.” In his contribution, the US President stated various conflicts in which he claimed to have prevented a war.
Analysts assume that Pakistan’s proposal could discourage Trump from intervening militarily in the conflict with Iran on the side of Israel. Pakistan criticized the Israeli attacks on Iran as a violation of international law and the risk of stability in the region.
