Prices* for craftsmen have risen sharply compared to last year.
The biggest jump took place among glaziers: the costs of a professional per hour increased by an average of around twelve percent.
Keep this in mind when calling a professional or emergency service:
- Be careful with travel expenses: Please note that travel and working hours are charged at an hourly rate. Rather, choose a professional in your area and compare prices.
- Be careful with emergency services: The top-ranked providers in search engines are not always the best, especially if the prices are suspiciously low. Consider whether the damage can wait until the next working day. Ideally, take down the contact details of reliable professionals before any injury occurs.
- Make the costs clear: Ask by telephone for the maximum price. The following applies to a cost estimate: You only have to pay it if you have been informed in advance of this payment obligation.
