Two people were injured during Krampus parades in Tyrol on Saturday. While a local woman in Anras (Lienz district) almost cut off her fingertip at a barrier, a visitor in Imst was hit with a rod by a Krampus. The police are looking for witnesses.
The incident took place during the Krampus parade on Imst Kramergasse. Police say a Krampus hit a 22-year-old local woman on the left hand with a wooden rod, causing it to swell.
The woman was then unable to fully move her fingers. She then went to the hospital in Zams on her own.

A local woman (51) was also injured in Anras. Around 6:10 p.m., the woman got her left hand stuck at the intersection of a barrier. At the same time, one of the Krampuses moved the grid back and forth.
The woman was trapped and one of her fingertips was almost completely severed. After the first treatment, she was taken to the Lienz district hospital.
