Now it is certain: five former students of the Linz elite secondary school will have to appear in court in January after an attack on a classmate during a school trip to Italy. The Public Prosecution Service accuses the boys of coercion and two of them also accuse them of making dangerous threats.
It was a language and culture trip from the private secondary school Kollegium Aloisianum from Linz to Assisi, Italy, during which an attack reportedly took place in the student accommodation. Five boys (16 and 17 years old) allegedly carried a classmate against her will to one of the hotel rooms (there are also video recordings of this) and locked her there.
There the young people allegedly forced her to ‘break out’ their backs, otherwise she would no longer let them out of the room. All five suspects are charged with this. It is said that the girl was put to bed, after which one of the boys asked, “Who will go out first?”
“wipe ass”
The student was also allegedly threatened with being locked in a closet. She would be forced not to leave the room.
The room would then be closed from the outside. However, the classmate was allegedly given the prospect that she would be allowed to leave as long as she wiped the butt of one of the boys.
The utterly terrified teen might have finally escaped. It is said that someone tripped her. She turned to her teachers for help and they reported the incident.
“Just kidding”
The suspects allegedly admitted during interrogation that they had carried the girl into the room, but denied the threats and coercion. It was all just fun and her classmate volunteered to participate.
The quintet will have to appear before the Linz regional court on January 24. The young people risk a prison sentence of up to six months. One of the boys is currently being investigated on suspicion of re-activation. However, the procedure for this is separate and has not yet been completed.
