A special official act: police students started a real fundraising marathon on Thursday for the benefit of children in need.
They joined forces to collect donations, toys and clothing and then handed them over to the SOS Children’s Village Balloon Shop, where the items are given to the affected families at a reasonable price.
Tomorrow’s police officers met the children at the Vienna Police Recruitment Center and spent a lot of time with them: painting cookies and handing out gifts that they financed in their spare time. In the evening, another 1,700 euros were raised, half of which was donated to the Vienna Children’s Hospice Network and the aid organization “Make-A-Wish”.
