The location of the robbery was the infamous Bogenmeile, after, according to the police, a ‘fake drug sale’ had recently taken place. The 24-year-old Syrian was violently knocked to the ground by a fellow countryman (23) and an unknown perpetrator and was injured by punches and kicks, researchers report.
Belt bag and jacket stolen
During the attack, the victim’s fanny pack containing several IDs and payment cards, as well as an expensive jacket, were stolen. “The victim was then threatened with a hammer if he reported the incident to the police,” investigators continued.
Companion injured with hammer
The 24-year-old Syrian suffered significant injuries as a result of the attack. A companion of the victim was slightly injured by one of the suspects with the hammer. Further investigations are underway.
