A curious incident took place in the early morning hours of Monday in Zell am See (Salzburg). A 37-year-old man from Saudi Arabia was unable to continue driving because his vehicle got stuck on the shore of Lake Zell.
At 5 a.m., the police were called about the accident in Pinzgau. A Saudi man’s car got stuck on the shore of a lake in Zell am See, and the man was unable to continue. In an alcohol test, the 37-year-old Arab measured 1.32 per mille and then refused the blood test. The Zell am See fire brigade was responsible for salvaging the car. The driver’s license was taken away and he was also reported.
The officials also caught an alcoholic driver in the city of Salzburg. The police arrested a 24-year-old Afghan man in the Gaswerkgasse. The check found that a 28-year-old Polish woman and her 20-month-old son were not wearing seat belts in the back seat of the vehicle. The driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.3 in the blood during the breath analysis. His driver’s license was also taken away.
