Another child fell from the window in Upper Austria. But the five-year-old girl was lucky! A witness saw the child just in time and was able to pick it up.
A 41-year-old from the Urfahr region drove home with his wife in his car around 1.30 pm on Sunday. He saw a child hanging from an open window on the first floor of an apartment building in the Urfahr district.
Girl couldn’t hold it anymore
So he immediately stopped and ran to the window, where a girl clung to the window sill with her arms and threatened to fall. The rescuer was standing under the window, which was about four meters high.
Mother didn’t notice
Just moments later, the five-year-old girl lost her footing on the windowsill and fell down, where she was caught by the 41-year-old. The man handed the child over to the mother, who was in the apartment at the time and had not noticed the incident.
