An urgent call for help reached the “Krone”: a Carinthian woman who provides animals with a loving home in their later years is suddenly shown the door. She also has her back against the wall financially.
“Me and my animals are in a real emergency situation,” says Mrs. N. in an interview with the “Krone”. The trained nursing assistant already had a small private farm in Styria with animals that no one wanted anymore. She then moved to Carinthia for work: “I was assured that I could house my animals in an empty building, as long as I could take care of them. the owner’s animals,” the desperate woman recalls.
But now everything turned out differently: the animal lover must leave the yard by March! And that with three alpacas, seven horses, dozens of chickens and ducks and four goats. “Now I am urgently looking for a new home for us!”
“Hoping for a Christmas miracle”
The despair is great! That is why the association “Kroneleser Help” is launching not only a fundraising campaign, but also an appeal (contact: kaerntner@kronenzeitung.at): Mrs. N. is looking for a farm with two hectares of adjacent area: “At best with pasture and a shelter for the animals,” the Carinthian chosen one hopes for a Christmas miracle. There is still some savings left: caring for the animals and a broken car weigh heavily on your wallet her partner on a complete construction site: “Everything I have goes to my beloved animals!”
