Osakidetza will open calls for OPE 2016-17 seats crippled by the alleged leaks

Date:

The Minister of Health has emphasized that the court order dismissing the case over the alleged leaks in the 2016-2017 Osakidetza OPE “reaffirms the integrity and decency” of the persons under investigation.

The Minister of Health, Alberto Martínez, has expressed his satisfaction at the dismissal of the judicial investigation into the alleged leaks in Osakidetza’s Public Employment Service (OPE), as this resolution “reaffirms the integrity and decency” of the people under investigation. while at the same time it will provide the opportunity to ‘open’ the call for positions that were paralyzed at the time due to doubts arising around alleged irregularities.

Martínez, in statements to journalists upon his arrival at the Basque Parliament, referred in this way to the decision of the Court of Instruction Number 2 of Vitoria-Gasteiz to dismiss the proceedings for the alleged leakage of exams at the Osakidetza OPE 2016-2017.

The order states that there has not been “the slightest and indicative justification” that the persons under investigation “have leaked the questions or been disloyal in the custody of the exams.”

The counsel stated that this resolution contributes to “strengthening confidence” in Osakidetza’s administrative procedures and “highlights the Ministry of Health’s commitment to transparency and justice.” Additionally, he explained that calls for positions that remained “blocked” due to the OPE investigation “will be opened.”

Regarding the existence of possible irregularities or leaks in the Osakidetza OPEs, he recalled that the four judges who participated in this process “established the same thing.”
