UNDOF has 1,171 uniformed troops in the area with the main contingents coming from Uruguay, Kazakhstan, India, Fiji and Nepal, as well as personnel from Argentina, Australia, Bhutan, Czech Republic, Ghana, Ireland, South Korea and Zambia, along with 150 troops. civilian troops. In addition, 92 military observers from the Golan Observer Group assist UNDOF in carrying out its tasks.
