In the vicinity of Innsbruck – magnitude 2.0: The earth shook again in Tyrol

On Sunday afternoon, the walls in the Innsbruck area shook again. According to the earthquake service GeoSphere Austria, the mild earthquake with a magnitude of 2.0 was felt sporadically.

According to GeoSphere Austria, the tremors were measured at 4:18 p.m. Some people felt the weak quake and there were reports of rumbling in the ground. The epicenter is probably about four kilometers west-northwest of the city center.

Apparently no damage occurred
“Damage to buildings is not known and cannot be expected,” emphasized the earthquake experts, who ask the population to report any observations.
