The purchase and sale of housing in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) grew by 69.7% in October compared to the same month in 2023, in a context characterized by the downward path of interest rates that makes mortgage financing cheaper.
While the CAV is the fourth community in the Spanish state where it has increased the most, Navarra is the last, with 13.9%.
According to data published this Monday by the National Statistical Institute (INE), 2,517 house purchases and sales transactions were carried out in the Basque Autonomous Community in October, of which 1,940 used home52.63% more than a year ago.
