The Easyjet company will operate twice a week from June until the end of summer (departures on Mondays and Fridays until mid-June and on Tuesdays and Fridays from that date). This route will be added to the routes already announced to Cork, Stockholm, Copenhagen or New York.
The airline Easyjet announced this next summer will offer direct flights between Bilbao Airport and Basel (Switzerland), a city 100 kilometers north of the Swiss capital Bern.
As reported on Thursday by Bilbao Airport’s route development committee, the company will be active twice a week from June to the end of summer. The sailings will take place until mid-June Monday and Fridayand it will be operational from that date Tuesday and Friday.
Easyjet has indicated that it is investigating the maintenance of the route in the winter if this is positively received.
The route between Bilbao and Basel will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 186 seats.
This route will be added to the routes already announced Cork, Stockholm, Copenhagen or New York.
