Instead of watching movies, eating pizza and talking about boys, a pajama party on Wednesday in Vienna-Hietzing ended with a police operation. The two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, will probably no longer be friends. For the older woman, the operation ended first in the hospital and then with an arrest.
It was supposed to be a relaxing overnight stay, but then everything turned out very differently: around 12.50 pm the emergency call was called. There was a 16 year old girl on the phone, completely beside herself. She said she had slept with her 17-year-old girlfriend, but the next morning her handbag suddenly disappeared.
Pepper spray attack on girlfriend
The teen then wanted to confront her friend, and the argument ended with a pepper spray attack. Vienna police went to the suspect’s apartment. There the 17-year-old allegedly became aggressive and hit furniture. She then told the officers that she wanted to die.
Death threats and an injured police officer
“Due to the circumstances, she was taken to a hospital in accordance with the Accommodation Act,” said police spokeswoman Barbara Gass, describing the incident on Wednesday. Even during the stop, the girl allegedly did not calm down and attacked an officer with kicks and injured him. The 17-year-old also threatened to kill her friend in front of the officers.
The result: the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of the 17-year-old.
