Difficult operation for the volunteer fire brigade of Hall in Tyrol on Saturday evening. Shortly before midnight, an apartment in an apartment complex was completely on fire. Emergency services had to evacuate 18 people from the building.
The fire broke out around 11:50 p.m. in an apartment on the ground floor of an apartment building in Hall. Heavy smoke had already spread through the building.
People freed from construction
The fire brigade evacuated 18 people from the building. Eight residents, including two small children, were taken to hospital because they suspected smoke inhalation. One person also suffered minor burns.
The fire brigade was able to get the fire under control and extinguish it a short time later. There was significant damage to the affected apartment. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

According to the municipality of Hall, the building will not be habitable for a long time. BM Christian Margreiter was able to organize the placement of some of those affected in the house in Stiftsgarten on site; “Some of them are staying with relatives,” it is said.
