Date:

On Monday evening, a 17-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in Gamlitz (Leibnitz district). The car rolled over several times and crashed into a pile of wood. The young Styrian was trapped in the wreckage.

It was a loud bang that woke a neighbor from his sleep around 12:45 p.m. He was also the one who alerted the emergency services. It turned out that a 17-year-old had lost control of his vehicle on the B69 (South Styrian border road), coming from Leutschach.

Here you can see a message from the Gamlitz fire brigade about the accident.

The car rolled over several times, crashed into a pile of wood and landed on its roof. The 17-year-old, who was trapped in the vehicle, was rescued from the wreckage by the Gamlitz and Leutschach fire brigades. The injured driver was then taken to the Wagna LKH.
