There are survivors – passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan

An Azerbaijani Embraer E190AR passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan. There are clues to survivors. There are said to have been 67 passengers and five crew members on board the plane on flight J28243.

The incident took place near the city of Aktau, Russian state news agencies reported on Wednesday, citing Kazakhstan’s Emergency Situations Ministry.

According to the first information, there are clues to survivors.

Emergency services are currently on the scene, it is said. Data from Flightradar24 shows the aircraft’s fluctuating altitude and speed before the emergency landing (see image below).

Machine diverted due to fog
The plane was en route from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to Grozny in the Russian republic of Chechnya. The route was diverted due to fog in Grozny.
