After the Christmas holidays it will be mainly sunny throughout Austria. Weather experts expect mild temperatures of up to eight degrees. Just in time for the weekend, temperatures could even rise into the double digits again.
The Stefani Day shows his sunny side. There are only a few dense clouds in all of Austria. However, it remains largely dry. The sun shines especially in the Upper Austrian Danube region, in Flachgau, in the Rhine Valley and in Upper Styria. At an altitude of 2000 meters it is between plus two degrees on the Schneeberg and plus seven degrees on the Arlberg around lunchtime. In the lowlands, temperatures rise to a maximum of five degrees.
Also on Freitag it remains unusually mild. Nevertheless, some fog and rain fields in the Rhine Valley and Lower Carinthia remain extremely persistent. Even in the north, the sometimes strong wind ensures slightly lower temperatures of up to seven degrees. In the rest of the country, weather experts expect temperatures of up to ten degrees. It will be warmest in the east.
A mix of sun, clouds and rain awaits us Saturday in many states. It could still be perfect skiing weather for skiers, with sunny ten degrees in the mountains. Otherwise, temperatures in the lowlands are between zero and eight degrees.
The Sunday remains unstable. In the lowlands the dense clouds of fog are lifting somewhat. The sun will have the upper hand later, especially in the east. Some rain or snow is possible in the north. The snowfall limit temporarily drops to 500 meters. The early temperatures are between minus ten and zero degrees. As the day progresses, temperatures rise to a maximum of seven degrees, depending on the sun.
