Five hospital workers Kamal Adwan from Beit Lahiain the northern part of Gaza, which has been under Israeli siege for 83 days, were killed this Thursday in the attacks that have been destroying the center for more than a week, director Hussam Abu Safiya announced.

Kamal Adwan is currently hosting about 75 injured along with his companions and 180 workers, according to the director, making a total of about 350 people inside.
This afternoon, Abu Safiya issued another statement warning about the situation in the hospital and how the attacks by the Israeli army were increasing in intensity.
“Shrapnel from one of the explosions entered the building and hit a patient’s room, directly injuring nurse Hassan al Dabous. He suffered serious head injuries,” said the doctor, who assured that Al Dabous was in very serious condition.
Another hospital worker was injured today in the explosion of a grenade launched from a quadcopter drone against the edge of the center.
Moreover, the hospital director has denounced the matter explosion of a dozen vehicles loaded with explosives in the vicinity of the hospital, which have caused extensive damage in the center.
Today the total number of deaths in Gaza in more than fourteen months has risen to 45,399, of which 70% were women and childrenwhile a total of 107,940 are injured. These numbers do not include the people in the neighborhood 11,000 bodies which, according to the Strip’s Ministry of Health, are still in the rubble or lying on roads without rescue teams having access to them.
