A tragic traffic accident took place on the A6 near Potzneusiedl on Friday. Six passengers were injured and all help came too late for a 54-year-old woman.
Due to alcohol consumption and carelessness, a serious accident occurred involving three cars. The collision took place around 3:40 am on the A6 between Potzneusiedl and Bruckneudorf, as reported by the state security center.
A 28-year-old driver from Vienna hit the vehicle of a Slovakian driver. As a result, the lead vehicle crashed into the guardrail. Another driver was unable to brake in time and collided with the car.

With tragic consequences: several people were trapped in the collision. The occupants were injured, some seriously. They had to be cared for by emergency services and paramedics.
However, there was no rescue for one accident victim, a Slovak woman (54). The force of the impact threw her from the car. The emergency doctor could only determine death.
The 27-year-old driver from Vienna had a positive alcohol test: 0.7 per mille. A driver’s license could not be taken away from him because he does not have one.
