On Friday morning, a 45-year-old parcel deliverer in Satteins (Vorarlberg) slipped off the road with his van due to the slippery road surface. Fortunately, the journey into botany ended happily.
At approximately 10:45 a.m., the package deliverer was driving his van up a narrow path uphill in the Krist package when his vehicle suddenly began to slide due to the icy conditions and went off the road. The driver then alerted the fire brigade, especially because his van was in danger of completely crashing.
Florian’s alarmed disciples knew how to help themselves. They first secured the vehicle and then recovered it with a tractor and a truck. The operation took about two hours and the van suffered only a few minor scratches.
