Without leaving traces on the car, criminals hit the lower Austria several times and conquered mobile phones and laptops. The researchers do not exclude an interference station.
Only a few non -observed minutes were enough for a long finger to get into a car in a parking lot in Leopoldsdorf in the Bruck District on the Leitha and steal a mobile phone from it. The owner had just gone and had left his cell phone in the car.
A man was a few kilometers away days earlier in Himberg. There the company laptop and the company telephone had disappeared from a parked car. Strikingly parallel: this vehicle also had no traces of burglary, it was unanswered after the coup – no isolated cases recently in the east of the country.
Open -Mind from a distance?
Because the owners were convinced that they had completed their cars, the police cannot exclude that criminals – as before in this region – travel with interference. This allows you to intercept the radio signal of the car key with the so-called Keyless Go systems and prevent them from closing or opening a safe distance.
Regardless of this, the police advise you not to leave valuables in the car.
